A packaging brief helps the buyer and supplier discuss the same deliverable. Use the fields below when requesting private-label home textiles. Packaging availability, costs and minimum quantities need confirmation for the selected product.

Define the destination and sales channel

State the delivery country and whether the goods are intended for a retail store, a distributor warehouse or an online fulfillment operation. If a warehouse or marketplace has requirements, provide the current instructions for that destination rather than asking for an unspecified “FBA-ready” pack.

Specify the unit pack

DecisionBuyer input
PresentationRequested bag, sleeve, box or other format, with a reference image if available.
Product protectionHow the buyer expects the product to look when unpacked, and any compression restrictions to review.
BrandingArtwork file, placement, dimensions and revision number.
LabelsApproved material, care and other required wording for the destination; identify who approves that wording.
BarcodeThe assigned code, matching SKU, required placement and scan-check requirement.

Make carton instructions unambiguous

List units per carton, whether mixed SKUs are allowed, the required carton mark and any warehouse limits supplied by the buyer. Request actual packed carton dimensions and weight for freight planning. Product dimensions by themselves are not the packed shipment dimensions.

Approve before the bulk run

Ask for an artwork proof and a packed sample or clear packing photographs. Check SKU-to-barcode matching and the opening/unpacking experience. Record requested changes and obtain confirmation of any additional packaging cost or timing before final approval.
